We are looking for an experienced and passionate full-time "Network / System Engineer" to join our team in Luxembourg. As one of our engineers, you will be joining a small team that will introduce you to the different tasks you will oversee. You should have at least 3 years of working experience in operating networks and servers.

Job Description:

• Supervise, manage, and maintain network and server infrastructure
• Provide level 2 technical support and troubleshooting assistance
• Repair and recover from hardware or software failures
• Anticipate issues and risks and take appropriate actions
• Secure systems by developing system access, monitoring, and control solutions
• Assist in establishing and testing disaster recovery policies and procedures; completing backups; maintaining documentation

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 3+ years of working experience in network administration, Linux system administration, network monitoring, virtual systems
• Extensive experience with Layer-2 and Layer-3 networking technologies
• Strong knowledge of networking technologies for BGP, OSPF, QoS, VPN, WDM
• Working experience with Web Hosting, DNS, Email services
• Knowledge of Cisco / Alcatel networking
• Experience of working with VMware virtualisation solutions
• Technical knowledge of firewalls, load balancers, and other networking devices
• Scripting ability using Perl, Bash or other shell scripting languages
• Self-Motivated and Self-Monitoring
• Interested in new technologies and not afraid to learn new practices
• French and English speaking. Luxemburgish is considered as an advantage
